Dear Karen,

Isn't it amazing how we can feel like we are the only ones in the world who are feeling certain way and then, voila!, along comes a blog that echoes exactly what we are feeling.

I, too, have had a very difficult past two years and am in the process of regaining my joie de vivre! I am in Paris for 3 months then will go back to Vermont in early November.

This city is magical, beautiful, and subtle at the same time.

I enjoyed ready your descriptions and seeing your photos. Thanks!
